Family Safety Contracts.
Before your children start to explore the Internet, it's a good idea to make sure everyone understands what they should and shouldn't be doing online.
One idea is to sit down together and draw up a family code of conduct for all to agree on.
Here's two websites that will help you create your own Family Safety Contract.
There are lots of "rules" on how kids (and parents) can be use the Internet but the most important rule is that parents and kids agree to a set of criteria. This website offers a set of two downloadable contracts - one for children and one for parents.
